Lu Impostu

Lu Impostu beach, located along the eastern coast of Sardinia, is located in the territory of the Municipality of San Teodoro.

A small promontory separates the beach from the more famous Cala Brandinchi which can be reached by crossing the pine forest that extends along the two beaches.

Reach Lu Impostu beach from Residence La Rosa: from Porto San Paolo, head south towards San Teodoro.

Along the route of the state road 125 you will find the towns of Vaccileddi, Monte Petrosu, Lutturai, Lu Fraili; after about 1 km, turn left at the crossroads for Puntaldia in front of the Life restaurant.
Then continue for about 2 km until you reach the public car parks that are located above the beach.

A clarification: the presence of Posidonia beached along the beach gives an indication of the healthiness of the sea, in fact the Posidonia plant (it is not an alga!) Grows under the sea level giving oxygen to the whole ecosystem.
